The exhibition Monks and Nuns at the Vallila Brewery’s gallery is a hommage to the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of monastic institutions and an interpretation of the shared impact of Christianity and alcohol on European cultural history. The exhibition’s artists interpret the theme freely, while also reflecting on the significance of alcohol as a foundation of European culture.
